Cyber Infrastructure / Cyber Frame
A secure hyperconverged infrastructure and IaaS platform for service providers.
Acronis Cyber Frame is a secure hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) and IaaS solution that lets service providers deliver infrastructure services — VMs, networks, and tiered storage — on their own terms, protected by default with built-in backup, DR, security, and RMM. Built on OpenStack and KVM with no proprietary hypervisor lock-in, it enables efficient, profitable IaaS delivery. Faltrox delivers and operates it as managed secure infrastructure.
Overview
What Cyber Infrastructure / Cyber Frame is
Service providers want to deliver IaaS without the cost, complexity, and lock-in of proprietary virtualization stacks — and without bolting security on afterwards. Acronis Cyber Frame is built for exactly that: a secure hyperconverged infrastructure and IaaS platform, built on OpenStack and KVM (with Virtuozzo) so there is no proprietary hypervisor lock-in and long-term flexibility is preserved.
It lets service providers deliver VMs, virtual networks, and hot and cold storage to their customers, protected by default with backup, DR, security, and RMM automatically enabled from day one. It is multi-tenant with customer self-service, integrates with Acronis and third-party PSA for billing and operations, and includes VMware migration tools. Two editions cover both models: Cyber Frame Cloud (Acronis-hosted, no CapEx) and Cyber Frame Local (SP-hosted, on your own infrastructure). Faltrox delivers and operates it as managed secure infrastructure.

How it works
The mechanism
How the product moves from signal to protected state, step by step.
- 01
Deploy
The OpenStack/KVM-based platform is deployed on the SP’s infrastructure or hosted by Acronis.
- 02
Provision
Customers self-provision VMs, virtual networks, and tiered storage within defined limits.
- 03
Protect
Backup, DR, security, and RMM are enabled by default across the virtual machines.
- 04
Operate
Multi-tenancy isolates customers, and PSA integrations handle billing, service desk, and reporting.
- 05
Manage
Faltrox delivers and operates the platform as managed secure infrastructure.

Managed by Faltrox
Faltrox licenses, deploys, and tunes Acronis Cyber Infrastructure / Cyber Frame for your environment, then runs it as part of a managed service, so you get the protection without staffing another security console.
FAQ
Common questions
01What is Acronis Cyber Frame?
A secure hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) and IaaS solution that lets service providers deliver VMs, virtual networks, and tiered storage to their customers — protected by default with built-in backup, DR, security, and RMM, and built on OpenStack and KVM so there is no proprietary hypervisor lock-in.
02Why does "no hypervisor lock-in" matter?
Because being built on open OpenStack and KVM rather than a proprietary hypervisor gives service providers long-term flexibility and independence — avoiding the cost and lock-in of a proprietary virtualization stack, which is increasingly important as licensing models change.
03What does "protected by default" mean?
Backup, DR, security, and RMM are automatically enabled from day one across the virtual machines — so the infrastructure is secure and resilient without bolting protection on afterwards, unlike a bare IaaS platform.
04What deployment models are available?
Two — Cyber Frame Cloud (Acronis-hosted, with no CapEx or hardware investment, ideal for MSPs and VARs) and Cyber Frame Local (SP-hosted on your own infrastructure, with full control over hardware and data location, ideal for CSPs, hosters, and telcos).
05How does Faltrox operate it?
We deploy and operate the platform — provisioning, protecting, and managing the infrastructure and its tenants, and integrating PSA for billing and operations — delivering secure hyperconverged infrastructure and IaaS as a managed service.
